The layout of the clock face is well done. Easy to read with a quick glance. The thermometer is accurate (validated with a handheld infrared temperature thermometer).Alarm sound is effective at waking me and I am a sound sleeper (I’ve slept through a fire alarm in a college dorm).The form factor is perfect for a travel alarm. I’m old enough to have owned analog travel alarm I used on business trips and this is on par with past travel alarms. The full “indiglo” like back light is excellent and makes the full display readable in total darkness but doesn’t blind sleepy eyes like my smartphone does.I highly recommend this travel alarm. In my opinion, there are not a lot of contenders out there, unfortunately, now that smartphones are so popular…I have had issues where my smartphone alarm doesn’t go off and/or doesn’t wake me up but my dedicated alarm clocks always do their job well. This well made travel alarm is great if your looking for nice form, function and dependability!
