This drone is very small which makes it perfect to fly around inside. I've never owned or operated a drone before I bought this one, and right out of the box I was flying it around the house. After a full charge, and reading the directions I had mastered the trim and had full control over it. I was surprised how easy and fun it was to operate. This drone would be a great Christmas gift for a child, or an adult. I'm 62 years old and I have a blast zooming this little guy from room to room. The propellers are well protected from doing damage to itself and anything you might run into. It also comes with spare propellers and 3 batteries. It's so much fun!! The camera isn't the best quality, so don't think you will be getting any awesome aerial shots, but the kids will enjoy it. I haven't mastered controlling the drone via the smartphone controls, but I haven't spent much time practicing through my phone. Definitely worth the cost. Inexpensive and very fun.
