For the money a fun product for the children. Not especially easy to learn nor is battery life especially long but very satisfying for the money.It was a great birthday gift, however, the direction on the remote are extremely counterintuitive. The remote needs to mirror the way video games remote works for up and down and front and back.A fun little indoor helicopter but the battery life is not good and not very durable so definitely not for outdoors since it couldn't withstand any amount of wind or breeze , but it is so uch fun and easy to fly !At first we bought this and a GoolRC. This helicopter was $50 less expensive, easier to fly, more fun for everyone, and more durable. We had so much fun we bought 2 more of these and have aerial fights now. Absolutely worth the price, do get the extra batteries.Batteries recharge quickly and it’s a great indoor flyer.I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 7-year-old grandson. I was concerned that flying it might be too difficult. Not at all the case. He learned to fly it pretty well within about 30 minutes. There is a button that provides automatic take-off and landing which eliminates much of the potential for error. The chopper is remarkably stable after takeoff and only slight movement of the toggles is needed to move it up and down and forward and reverse. I had to make some minor trim adjustments with the trim button which he could not figure out. Before long he was practicing flying through doorways and landing on tabletops. The rechargeable batteries (two include) lasted about 10 - 12 minutes, but took 20 minutes to recharge; so play is not continuous. This chopper was remarkably resilient and survived a few spectacular crashes to the floor from over 15 feet. I had to straighten out the rotor blades couple of times after crashes but did not need to replace them (replacement blades are included).
