At this price point there is not much comparison. A comparable dewalt or equivalent cost about this much for a bare tool. Factor in 2 batteries and a charger and your at $300 easily. That being said, this thing fits in perfectly for a casual diy-er home mechanic. I’ve so far used a dozen or so times cracking lug nuts(no problems). I put it through it’s paces doing suspension work on a ford, it cracked every bolt, some with ease some with a hint of a struggle. Holds charge fairly well. After about 2 weeks of non-use 1 bar went down on the battery. It charges quick as well 15-20 min to full charge. The charging dock is picky as to how you attach the battery sometimes it picks it up most times it does not. But that is fully disclosed in the manual and I’ve never not been able to get it to connect. Overall, an excellent product backed by a solid manufacturers warranty. Fits my needs just fine, I might buy a bare tool version to have 1 in each vehicle. Lastly, as a test I broke some lug nuts off my truck and used this impact to put them back on, then grabbed my torque wrench to get a rough idea of how tight this gets them, my torque wrench is 3/8 80lb max, it maxed the torque wrench immediately. I’m sure it was well over 120lbs. Buy it. The end.
