A heated sock battery failed and I got these bigger ones. First test they ran 7 hours on the setting that is second from high, which is warm enough for extended frigid duty, and they were still working. They fit the sock battery pocket no problem and have made activities in extreme cold more practical without the expense and bulk of Arctic-style boots.
