my device came with a “charging cable” for my batteries, but that cable was capable of OVERcharging the batteries! also, the charge cable needed to be plugged into a usb outlet (not provided) . i wanted to plug into a standard household 12v dual blade power-strip. i also wanted the charger to have an indicator light (red:needs charge, green: fully charged); now, this very simple device , accomplishes this … it also will power other rechargeable batteries. i think this was a smart purchase !
