This is a good addition to my son’s toys. He loves birds but they don’t stay for a long time around the house or in the tree next to our house . This toy makes him happy and feel that they are around. It sounds so real.These birds are darling and the call even brings in actual birds to your yard. The call is awesome and movements real likeas a giftI really like how the bird moves with the sounds. Looks and sounds realistic.No volume control and it’s too loudI bought this for my 18 month old great granddaughter, I just finished putting it together... When you take it out of the package the pieces of the cage looks cheap.... BUT I got it together, I did super glue it so she can't take the cage apart.... It is soooo cute I can't wait to see her face when I give it to her.... the bird looks real and sings beautifully. I do recommend this ?As a joke I bought these little birds to go in an old bird cage my husband found. The birds were a little too big for it so I just have them sitting on my kitchen window sill now. They don't really react to sound or light, but they do react to movement and vibrations, like closing a cupboard or setting a pan down on the countertop with too much force. Then the sweet chirping starts up from these little birds. It's been fun to have them sing and I find my husband starting them up every morning. There is no volume control, but they aren't obnoxiously loud. When the grandkids come over they enjoy watching and listening to them sing. We haven't had any problems with them and they've been singing everyday for a couple of months.My 3 year old is obsessed with birds and this was a gift. She Carries is all over the place with her. It is actually a little broken now but only because she played with it HARD since December. She takes the cage off, shoves “food” in the cage all the time for the bird, and drops it like 3 times a day. Definitely held its own when out up against a 3 year old that over loved it.Assembly was effortless. Placed this on the terrace near a bird feeder. It sounds like a real bird singing and attracts all types of garden birds to the feeder. It works rain or shine and has been through at least 10 downpours and still works like new.Item very small! Would suggest getting something bigger, but it’s a gift in these turbulent times and the item does what it’s supposed to do!What's better in these dreary times of isolation, for some under harsh climes, than the melodic chirps of exotic birds. This one alternately sings like a Red Cardinal, or another wonderful bird. Very realistic - soothes the soul!Great buy and great sound - my Birds like it and so did my Mom
